Walk the Walk ... or, Run the Run
It makes sense that I actually use the stuff I design!  This early model, the Avita 380, included a motor hood - mounted, upright firing squirrel cage fan to cool the user.  At the time of this photo, I was training for the Boston Marathon.

Bowflex Pro Concept

Based on the product specification, we sketch out the configuration that would have the greatest video and in-person evaluation appeal and then, with the approval of our client, commence solid modeling of the solution in CAD.
The CAD solution is displayed in photo-realistic rendition, example shown below, for final executive approval.  The solid CAD files are then provided engineering staff for design control guidance.

Early Sketch of Hydroformed Pedestal Treadmill
The "Z" Treadmill Series was a breakthrough in material and process using hydro-formed steel pedestals for both strength and appearance.  Driven by our product specification, we commenced the sketch phase, shown here in one example.  Following initial aethetics, cost and engineering analysis, and marketing critique, we commenced development of CAD surface and solids, then, as shown below, on to photo-realistic renderings for client management evaluation.
The highly sculptural and strong hydroformed steel pedestal treadmill genre spawned our second generation equipment designs as shown in the example below.
